Tom Stoltman on his autism, success and legacy

In an Unfiltered exclusive interview, World’s Strongest Man Tom Stoltman talks to editor-in-chief Joe Warner about his inevitable rise to the top.

In their raw and wide-ranging conversation, Tom opens up about how his difficult and lonely childhood – his teachers told him he’d amount to nothing – was navigated thanks to the love and support of his close-knit family, and how his brother Luke’s decision to invite Tom to the gym was the moment he saved his life.

Since that first brother-in-arms session, the two have conquered the strongman world, and Tom reveals how he knew he was destined for greatness, the major sacrifices he had to make to achieve his dream, and how he plans to cement his legacy as the greatest strongman of all time.

He also explains how he channels his autism as a “superpower” and wears his diagnosis proudly on display as a beacon of hope and optimism for the hundreds of thousands of people, and their families, in similar situations.
